erased
grasping starlight with hopeful eyes
through the milky way which has been my life
wondering if heaven is beneath my feet
wishing for a shooting star to scar the night
perched on the edge of a full moon river
a pin head of knowledge of the vastness of space
like a flower in an enormous meadow
gone like the night, erased

I was honored to find zendictive mentioned once again
here…catlas crosses the internet
I hope you’ll check out cat’s blog,
I find her to be a ‘witty word wizard’
that can find enlightenment
in a box of… ‘Shake n Bake,‘
as if it were cracker jacks
now that’s
talented.

Would that our “pin heads of knowledge” should be so beautiful, fragrant, and peaceful with their surroundings as that “flower in an enormous meadow”. I agree that if “a shooting star would scar the night, perched on the edge of the full moon river” would form our civilization’s “pin head of knowledge”, our thinking would indeed bloom most beautifully! Thanks for pointing us to catlas!

Picture so mooded, and then the words. A pinhead of knowledge – that really does define so well. Love your pages
I actually really like these poems you see that taper down to one word. I think they’re clever.
