river song
lightly crashing
lapping
shoreline tapping
slapping
lightly beating
receding
then reaching
patting
wet sandy shore
curling
the river’s swirling
beating
with perfect timing
tempo driving
a long
river song

What a danceable song-poem! And the river wrote it! Thank goodness, you translanted and recorded it for us! (You DO know that I consider one who successfully translates and records the voices of the natural world the very BEST poets, do you not?)

Nice! I could feel the beating and rhythmic tapping in my head as I read this.
