I was presented the 7×7 award by
bows (~_~) humble
thank you
Here’s how this works: the awardee selects seven previous blog posts that represent certain categories: Most Beautiful, Most Helpful, Most Popular, Most Controversial, Most Surprisingly Successful, Most Underrated, Most Prideworthy, and then you pass the award along to seven new recipients.
okay, here goes…
Most Beautiful. I would have to say this would be a poem, perhaps…
Most Helpful, well I think my first post is the most enlightening story that I tell so that would be… Enemies of the mind
Most Popular… wow, this is harder than it looks, but I would say that the most popular post of mine is…Pearls of Wisdom with 16 comments
Most Controversial…4 blind men and an elephant mainly because of conversations I have had with co-workers when I tell this story.
Most Surprisingly Successful…I was suprised I got a lot of responses from this story I wrote.. called Compassion for Ignorance
Most Underrated…I would have to say that the poem Leap of faith did not get the recognition I thought it would, it is one of my favorite writes
Most Prideworthy…Praying to say the right thing… I had a situation at work that spawned this write and it helped me greatly to over come the obsticle.
Now to pass this on to seven others…
Janece and her blog… TheWildPomagranite Janece inspired me to try out NaNoWriMo which in turn spawned the novel I am currently writing, The House of Zen which I have used nearly all of these zen stories in this action novel of a boy who goes to live with his Uncle who is a Zen Master.
Catlas Crosses the Internet, she is a witty word wizard that I enjoy reading and nearly always has enlightening writes on her blog.
Warrior Poet Wisdom…Miro is an inspiration to me and always has a poem with a lesson in it. He is an icon for being a peaceful warrior.
Creativity Aroused by Fergimoto, she has inspired me to get into the Etegami which is a way for me to use my artistic ability with adding zen sayings.
DeeShrek , her blog Literally Challenged is intriguing to me and I just found out she is published so that may be why I find her writes humorous and enjoyable.
My Amigo, Ole Jules, his blog So Far From Heaven is humorous, informative and down right country.
Tim Coffey …Caffeine for the Creative Soul, I look forward to reading Tims blog every chance I get.
thanks again Miss Demure

Hi Art, thank you so much for including me in the 7×7 blog award! I got caught up in socializing this holiday weekend, and missed a few days blogging – and it was such a pleasant surprise to see your link this morning!

Thank you so much, mi amigo! 🙂 I’m honored to have been used as the one who would inspire you to write your book. THAT makes this whole thing pretty darn worthwhile! And I LOVE the new picture on your blog of you and your wife! So beautiful!

Thaks for the work in putting up these links! Glad you picked “the sound of my breath” as a beautiful poem — it is so calm and peaceful. Visited some of the links, but rushed for time today, so will plan to come back and explore further.

Art, congratulations to you. I have nominated you myself when I was nominated for a couple of awards earlier; and I am SO happy for you. I aspire to halfway meet your standards, especially after getting more of my own and better equipment to use in posting, after the first of the year. I am deeply grateful for your info about TheWildPomagranite, and then the last 3 you listed here. You were an instant inspiration and help to me when I discovered you in late September(when starting with wordpress) and you grow more and more of an influence all the time. Again, congratulations!
