Murdered Mistletoe
tip-toe tossed rocks
didn’t do alot
to bring it down
a holiday ornament
kisses, nestled in nature
in the penthouse of a tree top
it was found
twigs, dirt-clods and a screwdriver
thrown up at it
came back solo,
to the ground
objective solved
murdered mistletoe
with a shot-gun round

(this is a true story, we were trying to get the Mistletoe out of a tree and using the shot-gun turned out to be the fastest and best method.)
have a merry kissmas

I’ve found A-bombs are also quite effective on ant-hills. 🙂

life is a bowl of kibble
Shotgun. I never would have thought you would own a shotgun. I don’t know why I would think that either.

oh, I have guns, I grew up that way, I now however like shooting wildlife with a camera (~_~) and make use of grocery stores, but the knowledge is there if I need it.

Now I KNOW you were peeking through the Mississippi bushes back in 1953 as I tried to bring home the mistletoe my mother wanted! You described EXACTLY how we boomer kids murdered our homegrown mistletoe in the name of filial love!
